Pi Benio’s three-dimensional work comes
from and speaks to the female soul. A
native of southeastern Michigan, Ms Benio
is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University
where she studied under acclaimed
ceramicist Susanne Stephenson. While
her early work took advantage of her
training in ceramics, her more recent
explorations utilize a variety of media,
including metals, found objects and
handmade paper.
